If you ever get tiny bubbles, wait until clear coat is almost dry/still tack and blot bubbles flat with your finger. This makes them blend in. Clean dry finger.

I use a lacquer photo coat with UV protection and a HVLP airgun. I have successfully used clear spray enamel $.97 a can stuff from Walmart and that works great. The secret is even coats. All clear varnish sprays will appear to leave streaks but they go away when drying is complete. Unless very uneven cat is applied. I like to coat the print first as is is less likely to get scuffed up or stained when stretching.
